Q1
What is your feedback on the asynchronous portion?
The learning modules were very helpful and informative. I believe that when you finish the course however, you aren’t able to review the modules again. It would be nice to still have that option for later review.
Q2
What is your feedback on the Sim lab?
The technology is a great learning tool especially for more invasive skills like OB/Gyn. It is good for helping you get oriented to standard anatomy/positioning.
Q3
What is your feedback on the quality assured scan portion?
It’s helpful to be present for some of the quality assurance scans and get live feedback on the scan positioning as well as interpretation.
Q4
What is your feedback on the Clinical Ultrasound Conference?
The ultrasound conferences that focused on review of the ultrasounds that we completed were the most helpful. Getting the feedback on how to improve the scans and then following up by going to the ED to redo a similar scan
reinforced how to do prove technique, interpretation and image optimization
Q5
What is your overall feedback of the rotation?
I enjoyed the rotation. I leaned a lot about using ultrasounds and interpreting them. It was helpful to do this rotation early because during my ED shifts, some attending wanted scans that we were learning on the rotation. I think it would be helpful to add a few ultrasound guided procedures like IVs and maybe 1 ultrasound guided abscess drainage.
